The Cherry Project
The Cherry Project was series of creative workshops founded to facilitate creative safe spaces for everyone.
We believe in the importance of creative and collaborative spaces for people to explore and express themselves, and how such spaces naturally spark honest and respectful discussions around LGBTQIA+ topics, inclusivity, and belonging.

“I think the group sessions are such fun and all inclusive, I feel like I can truly be myself whilst writing and making art in a creative way. When I’m creating I feel my happiest.”
Participant Feedback
The first run of The Cherry Project was funded by the Education Incubator Scheme in collaboration with the WICC team at the University of Exeter. You can read our end-of project magazine, which includes all of our workshops and some of our participants’ submissions. We look forward to having a second run of the project in the new year.

“Had so much fun! The writing exercises were really interesting and different and not something I had ever tried before. Great to be in an environment with such lovely and welcoming people.”
